Gari Wyn Williams Photography
Biography
I'm from a small village called Deiniolen in the Snowdonia National Park in Wales. I started taking photographs when I was 25. My first work experience was for the local paper "The Caernarfon and Denbigh Herald", covering football and community events. After leaving South Fields College, Leicester with a HND in Photography I concentrated on shooting stock, mostly travel and business images for Colorific and Pictor in London. For a period I worked for Olympia Publifoto in Rome, one of the main Italian agencies, covering social, current affairs issues and producing travel stock of Italy, with my work being published regularly in the main Italian newspapers and magazines, like Panorama, Espresso, Max, Grazia, D-La Repubblica delle Donne, Corriere della Sera, Progressi Viaggi, Specchio, Oggi, Gente and Gioia. Currently I'm freelancing and producing lifestyle and concept images for my present agencies, Agefotostock, Getty Images, Alamy and Millennium Images, world leaders in the global image market.
